The Owner’s Story
TFL started because I wanted to build the kind of golf space that I felt was missing. Not just simulators shoved into a room, but an actual experience. A place where you can practice, compete, hang out, relax, and genuinely enjoy being there whether you’re a serious golfer or somebody just getting into the game.
Golf has been part of my life since I was two years old. I played competitively growing up, stepped away from it for a while, and eventually found my way back to it. What I love about golf is that it’s one of the few things you can play and improve at for your entire life. Over the last few years, I’ve gotten more friends and family into the game, including my wife, and that made me realize how much potential there was to create something different around it.
The vision for TFL came together when Dr. Jenny told me the space might become available. That was the push I needed. My brain immediately started spinning on how to create something that felt modern, clean, exclusive, welcoming, and honestly unlike anything else out there.
TFL is built around details. Bigger private simulator bays. A 3,000 sq. ft. short game area. Lounge spaces. Showers. A small gym. Physical therapy access. Coaching. Corporate event space. Every little detail from the layout to the colors to the branding was intentional. I wanted it to feel more like a premium modern training facility mixed with a luxury lounge than a typical indoor golf setup.
At the end of the day, I just love building spaces that people walk into and instantly think, “this is sick.” Spaces that make people want to stay longer, bring their friends back, improve at something, and enjoy the experience while doing it.
My goal with TFL is simple: create the best indoor golf experience people have ever seen and eventually bring that experience to multiple locations across Idaho and beyond.
